Why are we here?

“Aren’t we all asking this question?”, is what antigravity (my current agentic IDE used in my free time) suggested I should autocomplete in this blog post (on a new empty line), and I just really feel like that summarizes why I feel the need to start writing this blog.

This year has been a whirlwind across multiple aspects of my life and career, but none have been as impactful (and yet relatively unexamined) as the mainstream adoption of agentic AI this year. I want to start this blog and write posts not to offer any particular novel or insightful insight, but just to share my own journey and experience.

One of the more interesting insights I’ve had this year via the AI revolution is that there seems to actually be quite the appetite for rehashed ideas in new formats. With the lowered barrier from thought to action, it has become quite apparent to me that there is an endless supply of good enough open source projects that quickly implement new trending ideas in the space that rack up a decent amount of stars and followers. It has caused me to reevaluate my own hangup that developer blogs (or perhaps blogs in general) require some sort of novel insight or notable background to be worth reading.

Maybe sharing my own experience is enough?

Maybe restating the same trodden ideas in new prose can cause others some connection?

I honestly have no idea, but I am masses across a number of different topics and formats in 2025certain that right now more than ever that consumption of information generated by the next most likely token is actually causing me crave more creative expression. And to be quite frank, my tastes are not the most refined so I am sure I can not be the only one.

So thats why I am here. What about you?
